1. Scope & types of content
Content on All India Bullion includes: live rate listings, market updates, technical analysis, editorial commentary, guides, and sponsored posts. We label content clearly so readers can distinguish news (reporting), analysis (opinion), and sponsored material.
- News & Spot Updates — factual market movements, rate changes, and verified source reporting.
- Analysis & Insights — commentary and interpretation by in-house analysts or guest contributors; these are opinion pieces.
- Guides & Education — practical how-to content and reference material (hallmarking, purity, calculators).
2. Sourcing & verification
For city-level rate information, we use AIB's in-house market-data system. For editorial reporting and explanatory content, we use primary material, industry reports, bulletins and direct communication with market participants where appropriate. For every factual claim we:
- Prefer primary sources and official bulletins where available.
- Cross-check critical figures with at least one independent source when possible.
- Timestamp rate data and distinguish AIB's in-house reference data from third-party reporting.
When data is provisional or estimated, we label it clearly (e.g., “approx.” or “reported by”).
3. Editorial independence & conflicts of interest
Our editorial team operates independently from commercial teams. Editorial decisions are made without undue influence from advertisers, sponsors, or partners.
Conflicts of interest (financial holdings, industry relationships) held by editorial staff are disclosed where they are relevant to the coverage. Material conflicts that could reasonably be seen to affect coverage will be managed — including recusal or editorial note.
- If a writer holds a position in a bullion trading company referenced in an article, this is disclosed with the article.
- If a major advertiser is the subject of a news piece, we ensure coverage is evidence-based and reviewed by a senior editor.
4. Sponsored content & partnerships
We accept sponsored content and commercial partnerships only when they are clearly labelled and separated from editorial content.
- Sponsored posts are clearly marked with “Sponsored” or “Paid partnership”.
- Sponsor requests do not influence editorial judgement or fact-checking.
- We maintain a firewall between commercial and editorial teams; financial terms of sponsorships are not considered in newsroom decisions.
5. Corrections, clarifications & takedowns
Accuracy is critical. If we discover an error we will act promptly and transparently:
- Minor factual errors — corrected inline with a correction note and timestamp.
- Significant errors — a correction or clarification article will be published and linked to the original piece.
- Takedowns — for legal or privacy issues, we will remove or amend content and note the reason when possible.
To report an error, please contact our editorial team with the article link and a concise explanation (see Contact below). Material updates are recorded in our Corrections Log.
6. Attribution & licensing
Where we republish or adapt third-party data, we provide clear attribution. Re-use of our editorial content requires written permission. For licensing or syndication enquiries, contact our partnerships team.
7. Transparency & data labelling
We strive to label content type (News, Analysis, Opinion, Sponsored) and to disclose data sources and time stamps for rate information. Any use of estimates or preliminary data is clearly indicated.
